Religion

German: Religion

Common meaning:
A system of belief, worship, and spiritual practice meant to connect humans with the Divine or Absolute.
Clear meaning:
The structural attempt to bridge perceived separation—not the truth itself, but the gesture to remember what was never divided.

Religion comes from religare—to bind back, to reconnect.
But what needs to be re-bound
if nothing was ever lost?

Conventionally, religion offers structure, meaning, and belonging.
Structurally, it is not the source—
it is the symbol.
It may point,
but if mistaken for the destination,
it becomes the veil.

True religion dissolves
when the search for the sacred ends
in stillness
that never left.
