Closeness

German: Nähe

Common meaning:
Spatial, emotional, or interpersonal closeness; lack of distance
Clear meaning:
The absence of inner distance—not spatial nearness, but the freedom from separation in experience.

Closeness is not:
“You are with me.”
It is:
“There is nothing between us.”

Structurally, closeness arises
where the field no longer withdraws
and the self stops defending.

True closeness is not moving toward—
it is the falling away of separation.

Closeness is not someone arriving—
it is the recognition
that no one ever left.
