Enlightenment

German: Erleuchtung

Common meaning:
Spiritual awakening, highest insight, realization of truth
Clear meaning:
The complete cessation of separation—not insight as content, but the vanishing of the one who seeks to know.

Enlightenment is often imagined as a goal—
but structurally, it is not arrival,
it is the end of the seeker.

It is not the light that appears—
but the falling away
of what veiled it.

Enlightenment is the quiet knowing:
There is nothing to do,
nothing to know,
nothing to become.

Enlightenment is not the light you find—
it is
what remains when all else dissolves.
